Sure Electronics' MB-CM1311 USB Host Module The module is programmed with the mouse-keyboard test program (source code 1). It also has a USB storage program available (source code 2). For a quick test connect 5V and a standard USB mouse to the module. Click the left and right mouse buttons, and the corresponding LEDs will light up on the board. Please be aware that the serial signals are TTL level (not RS-232 levels). The module can be reprogrammed through the 6 through hole connection points at the side of the board with a PickIt or similar debugger/downloader. Program development can be down with the free MPLAB development suite.
